Amazing strat alternative

I got this guitar over a fender player mod ii purely based on specs (gotoh hardware and stainless steel frets), but came to apreciate it for what it is.

I think the design is actually better than fender for a few reasons: it got 2 string trees(this means better break angle at the nut which is always good), it got a better neck join access(it's similar to the ibanez all access neck join), it got spoke wheel truss rod adjustment near the neck pick-up(it's very easy to use).

Now to list the yamaha things: i do like the looks of this guitar, the colors are all gorgeous(i got the pink one, but the other colors look amazing too, especially the blue and the new colors they announced recently), the body contours look and feel good, teh pickguard and the controls look nice and have some very pleasing lines, almost like car lines. The guitar came setup really good, all i did was adjust the relief and tune it, the string action was 1.5mm for me and the bridge was setup floating (AMAZING setup out of the box). The pickups i like a lot, they sound really good in all scenarios i tried them: clean, clean with reverb and delay, clean with chorus, lightly overdriven, overdriven for rock, high gain. The pickups are really good and made me rethink lower output pickups personally. I also like the neck a lot, it has a good c shape, not too thin and not too thick and i find the finish applied to be very good and non sticky(it feels unfinished but it has a finish).

Now for the only downside of this guitar: the frets came in scratchy. I know after all the praise i gave it had to had some sort of flaw for this price point. The frets feel scratchy when bending or when doing vibrato, nothing a good polish won't fix. When i'll polish the frets this guitar will be a flawless jem.

Die Yamaha Pacifica Std. Plus ist in jeglicher Hinsicht ein hervorragendes Instrument: Verarbeitungsqualität, Ausstattung, Bespielbarkeit, Soundvielfalt sowie Preis/ Leistung.
Die Gitarre kann sich ohne weiters mit den US Premiumhersteller messen (ich besitze einen paar der Klassiker).
Es sind auch schon so einige Gitarren durch meine Hände gewandert.
Die Pacifica bekommt einen klaren Daumen hoch von mir!
