Just got back on playing the drums few months back and I was looking to get an E-kit so I wouldn't disturb my children nor my wife whenever I play and I got this kit as my first one and I can say that I made the right choice! awesome sounds from the module itself and I really love the realwood finish.
It's very worth it for the price since it comes with a Hi-Hat stand which other brands don't offer. Been playing this beast for almost 5 months now and I really am impressed.
If you are already playing drums and want to get your first E-kit. I would definitely recommend this for this price range. And besides, its YAMAHA!

I had my concerns regarding whether i would be able to enjoy playing on an e-kit, on rubber and mesh, but it turned out to be a big surprise! The versatility you get and all the different sounds the module contains, oh boy, it's soooo good!!! I love it so much!! Yamaha once more proved to be reliable and gives so many features! Also the Yamaha Rec'n'Share app is super easy to use. There is no need to go into "e-kits don't feel like acoustic", of course they don't because it's a different thing! Each has it's own pros and cons and which one you prefer depends 100% on how you want to use it and most importantly WHERE.
