Der neue Xotic RC Booster Classic hat einen entscheidenden Vorteil, Update gegenüber dem Vorgänger: der ) Volt Powerzugang ist nun endlich an der Stirnseite, statt seitlich direkt neben dem Output, da gehört er einfach nicht hin, stört dort den Zugang der Patchkabel. Regler und Bedienung sind gleich geblieben, soundmässig kommt mir der Vorgänger aber doch frischer, klarer vor. Der neue Classic ist nur bei zugedrehtem Gain und Volumen viel weiter aufgedreht ein Cleanbooster.

Das ist nicht so optimal, das können bestimmte Mitbewerber einfach besser. Wer aber einen nicht unbedingten clean Booster, sondern eher einen milden Overdrive oder einen Boost um seinen Amp zu pushen sucht, der findet mit diesem RC Booster sicher einen zuverlässigen Partner.

Compré este pedal por recomendación de un guitarrista profesional y ha sido una magnífica compra. Llegó en tiempo y bien empaquetado, Thomann un 10. Lo mejor de este pedal es el aumento de ganancia sin afectar al sonido, manteniendo todos los armónicos y tono en ambos estados. Recomendable aún siendo una opción mas costosa que otros modelos si interesa mantener el color del sonido intacto.

wollte für meinen geliebten, alten RC booster ein backup haben. diese neue version klingt leider anders als die alte: weniger gain, mehr volume. im charakter sind die pedale aber quasi ident, das neue klingt ebenfalls suuuuuper, jedoch anders. gains bei etwa 11 Uhr beim alten pedal entspricht vollem gain beim neuen pedal. und wie gesagt ist es lauter bei selben volume-einstellungen.
aus diesem gründen nur 4 sterne bei sound (vielleicht ungerechtfertigt), aber wie gesagt ein wirklich super pedal
