This is a lightweight, very durable mute that fits right inside the bell, so can be transported easily in your case.

The attenuation it provides is perhaps a little less than some other products, but it produces the best accuracy in tuning and tone of any practice mute I've used before. If you need to practice whilst others are sleeping it might not be the best choice, but it's still quiet enough to keep all but the most fussy neighbours happy.

En jouant fortissimo (85dB) on descend à 68dB, en jouant mezzo piano (82dB) on descend à 55dB. A 55dB, je joue dans une chambre le soir, porte fermée, les enfants n'entendent rien dans leur chambre portes fermées. Attention cependant j'ai noté un décalage d'un 1/2 ton vers le haut, et même en tirant la coulisse d'accord à fond je ne peux pas tout rattraper. Donc pas possible de jouer à plusieurs, c'est uniquement pour un entrainement solitaire.

Ich denke mit etwas Geschick kann man sich diesen Dämpfer sicher so anpassen, dass er angenehm ist. Ich habe ihn leider wieder zurückschicken müssen. Bei einem Dämpfer in dieser Preisklasse, erwarte ich mir, dass ich nicht noch selbst Hand anlegen muss.

Ansprache und Intonation sind echt super, Verarbeitung ist gut und man kann mithilfe eines kleinen Inserts den Widerstand und die Lautstärke gut und einfach einstellen. Zu Bedenken ist: Es ist ein Übedämpfer, damit ist er zum leichten Einspielen und üben gedacht. Wer einen Dämpfer sucht, bei dem man viel Druck geben kann, ist hier nicht geholfen.
