Great Balance but weak nature

Let me start by saying I ADORE this Model Stick. Maple is a wood that feels great, sounds great, specially on cymbals and is light weighted, BUT, if you don't manage your intensity they go rather fast, basically they break. This stick is NOT for heavy hitters, I would suggest Hickory for that. This model is more of a groove and technique oriented design in my opinion. But just give them a try.

Sits perfect between 5A and 5B

Been looking for a stick that has the diameter of a 5B but is light as a 5A and this Vater stick is absolutely perfect! Couldnt believe how good it felt having a diameter over 15mm and a weight under 50 grams. So if youre not the hardest hitter and looking for a stick that is fast but grippy, this one is for you!

Light maple as you would expect, however the durability was not the best. Probably would be fine for a light player. I would not hit very hard but i didnt get the longevity I would from a hickory stick.
