very reliable

i needed something to help me micing different sources without the nedd of chanhing boom and stand each time.
this little adapter allowes me to move the mic in any position i want quiclky and firmly. one twist of a know, set, and lock it again and mi pic stays where it needs to.
cant find ant cons about it. lets you place your microphone right where you want it easy and quick. Higliy recommended.

Perfect use for ORTF/XY mic placement with a stereobar. It's chunky and holds perfect a set of large condensers upside down. There are some cheaper K&M, Gravity ballheads but they have limited positioning options. The only downside for us europeans is the 5/8 thread. Yes, there's 5/8 to 3/8 thread adapters in the kit, but for such application I'd like to use less adapters as possible, since there's allways posibility to loose parts because of the vibrations of the heavy mics.

Una pinta increible, pero no vale para todo

Este accesorio de Triad Orbit, lo vi por primera vez en NYC en la AES 2013 y cuando lo vi me parecio una genialidad, cuando llegue a Madrid pedí uno a Thomann y me alegro saber que Thomann lleva Triad porque tenemos planes de pillar sus pie de micro en el futuro.

La calidad de estos productos es realmente increible y parece algo sacado de la NASA, mi plan era compar el M2-R para ponerlo en mi pie de micro de grabación principal en el estudio y la sorpresa es que este accesorio no admite micrófonos (U87 o algo de las mismas características) de mucho peso y cede ante este, con lo cual la razon por la cual lo pille que es darle la maxima movilidad en la colocacion de los micros durante la grabacion no es posible si el micro en cuestion es un micrófono grande, por lo que solo funciona para ciertos micrófono supongo que algo en la linea de un SM-57 o un Neumann KM-184 no dará mayores problemas, en fin no era lo que esepraba, la calidad de contrstrucción es buena pero solo eso.
