Der Straight von Tom Crown ist meiner Meinung nach absoluter Standard unter den Straight Mutes und das auch zu Recht!
Er ist sehr solide verarbeitet (ich besitze ihn schon seit einigen Jahren und der Kork sieht noch aus wie neu, auch der Lack sieht noch aus wie am ersten Tag)
Die Ansprache und der Sound gefallen mir persönlich gut.Einen Mangel weist er allerdings auf: ich finde ihn recht schwierig zu mikrophonieren. So hat man bei verstärkten Live Situationen oft nur die Wahl zwischen zu leise und schmerzhaft metallisch. Auch bei Recordings fällt es teilweise schwer dem Sound genug Größe zu verleihen.
