Ich war bereits länger auf der Suche nach einem guten "Straight"-Dämpfer der die Aufgaben eines symphonischen Orchesters gewachsen ist.
Ich habe diesen Dämpfer nun bereits in mehreren Konzerten verwendet und bin sehr zufrieden damit.
Der Klang ist wirklich wunderbar und verkümmert nicht wie es bei anderen Dämpfern des öfteren der Fall ist. Ziel ist es ja einen veränderten "gedämpften" Sound zu bekommen und nicht den Ton zu ersticken. Dieser Dämpfer kann wunderbar für eine Solo-Passage in einen Wiener Walzer verwändet werden, aber ebenso auch für ein Frank-Sinatra-Medley. Ein sehr guter Allround-Dämpfer.
Damit der Dämpfer richtig passt, muss eben selbst ein wenig nachgebessert werden, was aber sowieso üblich ist.
Die Verarbeitung an sich ist sehr gut und das Material jetzt auch nicht besonders weich, dass es bei jeder Berührung eine Delle gibt.
Wer jetzt nicht komplett versessen auf einen expliziten Big-Band-Sound (der sollte zu H&B-Dämpfer greifen) ist und für mehrere Eventualitätet gewappnet sein möchte, dem kann ich den Dämpfer sehr empfehlen!
