brilliant oscillator

As expected from Buchla (and TTA) , the 258t produces an amazing range of sound . The handling and features are fantastic - very solid build.

The modulation inputs are all unique which can bring an amazing selection of timbres and tones.

I will buy a second soon!

Amazing sound and a joy to play with

I really love the sound of this oscillator. Running it through filters is mind bending. The ergonomics are wonderful and vintage. I cannot give this 5 stars for features because well, it's not feature packed. But then again, you probably are not going to buy this if you'r looking for a digital module that does everything in 2HP. The quality is more than fine, it's excellent, there are no complaints - tolerances are not perfect, but you're probably not going to notice. Keep in mind, if you buy 2 of them, you will have 4 Oscillators!

One of the best oscilaltors i ever used

It has a very distinct charachter, not a charachter that is too defining, but very sculptable and playful. And of course: i have been waiting forever for a somewhat affordable buchla system :)
