Sounds like the ocean

The build quality is decent. I’m not a huge fan of the handle but that’sa matter of taste.

Soundwise, it sounds right although it can be tricky to get the angle and angular speed right as you roll the metal balls inside around.

Recording is best done from a small distance so you don’t hit the mic and the metal balls don’t sound like metal balls and instead make a collective ocean whoosh.

Seit drei Jahren spiele ich sie ohne dass es von der Qualität Probleme gegeben hätte. Das Ozeanrauschen klingt für mich sehr authentisch. Als Rahmentrommel mißbraucht klingt sie sehr Snare-ähnlich, allerdings mit untypisch starkem Bass-Anteil. Ungewöhnlich - find ich aber trotzdem gut. Geschmack ist bekanntlich Geschmackssache ? mir gefällt sie.
