Free the guitarists
The Swiff Audio WT09a is a powerful, compact wireless system designed for the cable‑free transmission of guitar signals. The transmitter and receiver plug directly into the instrument and amp using standard 6.3mm jack connectors. With an input impedance of 1 megaohm, the system is well matched to electric guitars and similar instruments; this helps preserve high frequencies, string resonance, and more complex tonal textures, even with passive pickups. Latency is very low – under 4 ms – which means the playing feel remains immediate and natural, even in live settings. A high signal‑to‑noise ratio of -125 dB, together with low distortion, ensures a clean signal path. The devices' LED rings also make it possible to check the signal directly on the instrument or at the receiver.
Compact and ergonomic
The LDS antennas in the Swiff WT09a offer a range of up to 30 metres under optimal conditions, so the system works just as well on larger stages as it does in rehearsal rooms or at home. Channel selection is automatic after pairing, which simplifies setup and reduces the likelihood of interference from other wireless sources. The idea here is to provide a straightforward, no‑fuss solution – particularly appealing for musicians who want to get up and running quickly, without complex configuration. Transmitter and receiver are clearly marked, and this ease of use is further underline by the devices' ergonomic spherical design and low weight, allowing the transmitter to sit discreetly on the instrument. Guitarists in particular benefit from the added freedom of movement, without extra cables, fragile antennas, or bulky components to get in their way.
Reliable signal
One very practical feature of the WT09a is the built‑in LED rings on both transmitter and receiver, which show signal level and connection status, respectively. At a glance, it's easy to see – on the guitar itself – whether the levels are alright, or whether the guitarist is getting too far from the amp. Battery status can also be checked at any time. The 1 megaohm input impedance is the established standard for guitar signals, helping ensure each instrument's unique character comes through accurately. This is complemented by Swiff's low latency and stable transmission technology, with the internationally licence-free 2.4GHz band offering clean digital transmission and compact antenna dimensions. The lithium batteries provide up to four hours of use and can be recharged conveniently via USB‑C, making the system well suited to rehearsals, sessions, and standard live performances.
