Source Audio Encounter SA 264 Delay+Reverb

This pedal provides very high quality ambient delay and reverb engines which can be combined in any order. They can just about be tamed into traditional delay/reverb territory at the lower settings, but allow you to expand into really massive ambient sounds at the higher end. It is very flexible in the sense that you can use any two effect engines in series, parallel or as two separate outputs. You can also use external expression pedals to control some of the parameters in real time. The only downside is because of the very small form factor you have to switch between using the knobs for delay or reverb, and some of the more advanced functions require you to press an alt/ctrl button on the back whilst pressing a button or flipping a switch on the front which is fiddly and difficult to remember. You can of course just use the Neural PC app to tweak just about everything and then save your presets to the 8 onboard slots. I personally would have preferred a larger box with two sets of knobs/switches, but I am still very pleased with this magical box of tricks!
