I think I made the right present to my kids buying this instrument.
Kids may use it more like a toy, but they have great fun playing it and learn to read notes through colours.
It actually comes with some easy coloured scores to help kids familiarise with music sheets.
I would say it's a good value for the money.

Good product. The bars are correctly tuned so you can play without false notes. The only issue is that rubber holders get a bit loose after changing the bars which you can do if you want to play in a different key.

Nice simple toy

I bought it for my little daughter as an intro to music. It is simple, robust construction, the tone is really pleasant. For different scales it has some sharp bars with distinct colors. The C however was really out of tune (flat), I'd expect a better quality control.
Maybe I have bad luck, but haven't bother to send it back.
