The build quality is outstanding. The outer jacket is thick and tough, yet surprisingly flexible, making it very easy to coil at the end of a gig. Even on large stages with lots of lighting and power cables around, this cable remains dead quiet thanks to its excellent shielding.
I’ve used many cables over the years, but Sommer has a certain premium feel to it that rivals much more expensive brands. The connectors are rugged and the soldering is top-notch. It’s a reliable workhorse that handles the rigors of touring without any issues.

The best!
Sommer cables with neutrik plugs.
Flexible yet sturdy, they can take quite some abuse. I own about two dozen of Sommer cables and soundwise they never failed, the build quality is nothing short of perfection.

A reliable default XLR cable
The cable itself is lightweight and flexible -
possibly a little thinner than Canford Audio's HST model though it still looks consistently made. The soldering job on the XLRs (Neutrik of course) is neat though I note that there is no insulating tube around the shield within each connector. The black connectors are a nice touch for live work.

Good quality product
Sommer cables make great quality cables, I have used them for several years - always purchasing from Thomann. They last the rigour of touring and performing but don't cost the earth!! Great product
