Bought 2 of these to use as room/ambient mics for our in ear monitor system. Mounted them to either side of the stage opening where their low profile makes them very discreet. I removed the original backing as I chose to mount them with double sided tape. Sound quality is to the usual high Shure standard enabling performers to gauge audience response.
