Sennheiser MD 435

Works really good live with its detailed and pushed top end. Low end goes really low as well, easily down too 80hz due to its large membrane. Handling noise is the lowest I had in any mic thanks too its suspended capsule. My wife who is very sensitive too mushy sound of small diaphragm dynamics find this one soubding much closer to a condenser. For studio I would use a high shelf reduction by a couple of dB. If only Sennheiser could design flatter dynamics.
