The drum is well made and the mallets sound good with it. Nice fundamental sounds are in tune. I wanted to dip my toe into the handpan D minor Kurd waters and the notes are arranged the standard way, so job done.

The lingering harmonics go a bit dissonant, but it is a cheap model so is worth it to get a feel for what is to come from a more expensive purchase, should the need arise.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix pour ce tongue drum Sela SE 380.
Je l'ai acheté pour pouvoir travailler la gamme D Kurd car je possède un handpan D Kurd 10. Il manque une dixième note donc (pour chipoter) mais le son et l'accordage est plus que correct.
L'agencement des notes est un peu bizarre, il faut tourner (face à vous) légèrement le tongue drum pour avoir la note la plus grave bien devant soi. Ce qui fait que le Ding (la note centrale) n'est plus droite. On prends vite l'habitude et ce n'est en rien gênant pour jouer.
Plus léger et moins encombrant que le handpan, c'est donc pour moi un parfait instrument de travail ! La housse fait très bien le job également.
Je recommande !

Ich habe mir diese Tongue Drum als Ergänzung zu meiner Handpan gekauft, weil ich die nicht bei jedem Wetter mitnehmen kann und die Tongue Drum unempfindlich ist. Bin überrascht, wie leicht sie sich ohne Schlegel spielen lässt, bin sehr zufrieden! Meine Enkel (9 und 5 Jahre alt) sind ebenfalls begeistert und spielen gerne darauf. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
