a beautiful beast

it sounds great, looks great, its played great. in love with it

it comes by default with 10-46 strings. i'm playing in B and it did well, loved it. nevertheless for more intonation reliability i switched to 11-52 and the vibrato bendings are still easy to perform, it was an improvement. no signs of affecting to the action.

i bought the guitar because i wanted a monster when playing, and then i ended up choosing the single coil voice... i've never seen such a powerful distorted yet clean tone (then i leave the monster coils for soloing or some boost)

also i heard a lot of times that is a guitar for riffing... nevertheless playing solos feels awesome, and the sound is all that i was waiting for.

now i have a beast for rhythm guitars and a clean but full with sustain, lower sound for soloing

Just ‘black’ and with dangerously sharp screw heads

For a guitar priced this high I was not expecting to find the small screws that fit the pickguard to the body to have dangerously sharp screw heads. You can scratch your skin open if you’re not careful…. Very poor finishing on that part which really came as an unpleasant surprise. For the rest, the guitar is ‘just very black’…. I returned it.
