L'instrument est beau, bien fini, très bien emballé et protégé.
Le montage du chevalet est simple, il suffit de le positionner comme indiqué, de le régler à l'équerre par rapport à la table et de l'accorder.
Ce qui m'a sauté aux yeux c'est la forte épaisseur de la table. Quand au son, malgré des cordes haut de gamme, les mêmes que sur mon instrument d'étude à 1300 euros, le son est terne et devient étouffé dès que l'on monte en 4eme position. Les cordes sont un peu hautes. Le modèle que j'ai eu entre les mains nécessiterai de passer chez le luthier, mais ce n'est pas ce que j'attends d'un violoncelle neuf à ce prix.
