Die perfekte 14" side Hihat

Ich habe mir diese Hihat ursprünglich als neue Main-HiHat angeschafft. Nach kurzem Testen wurde mir klar, dass sie das aber überhaupt nicht ist, jedenfalls nicht für mich. Ich habe dann herumexperimentiert und habe sie letztlich als zweite Hihat an meinem Set angebracht und als solche macht sie eine hervorragende Figur.

Geöffnet klingt sehr "schepperig" und der Dynamikbereich ist meiner Meinung nach recht gering. Jedoch finde ich sie leicht geöffnet an einer Remote-Hihat perfekt und klingt etwas ausgewogener als viele 12"-Hihats, jedoch auch nur in meinen Ohren.
Wer eine Hihat für smoothe Grooves oder auch Blastbeats sucht, der wird an ihr sicher Freude haben. Wer eine "groß" klingende Hihat sucht, ist hier falsch.
Der Sound ist AAX-typisch sehr hell, jedoch ist sie durch ihr geringes Gewicht nicht zu laut und daher auch gut zu kontrollieren. Einen Test an einem Set würde ich vor dem Kauf jedoch stark empfehlen.

Sie mögen vielleicht etwas leiser sein als manch andere HH-Becken, jedoch hat mich die Vielfalt der Klangfarben, die man hervorbringen kann, voll überzeugt. Wer es fein schattiert und evtl. funky mag, ist hier genau richtig. Toll für Recording, wie in der Beschreibung angegeben.
