Good ligature

I use the Rovner Versa ligatures on all my saxophones. It supports having a full dark tone. It helps also getting the lower register easily. Keeps the reed tide to the mouthpiece and it is easy to mount the reed on the mouthpiece.

Tricky to judge it - two good ligs in one

Great concept, two for one, a Rovner dark with added mass or a hybrid lig with metal on the reed. In practise, slightly better than a normal Mk3 and eaten up by a Vandoren optimum (at much greater expense). Metal cradle slips on the reed easily when fitting the mouthpiece to the neck cork. IMHO not better enough to keep if you already have the other ligs - otherwise it is good value. It may also do better on other reeds/mouthpieces.

Für das schlank gebaute Mundstück ist die für "Tenorsaxophon" bepriesene Rovner-Ligatur (2R) zu weit (kann gar nicht eng genug eingestellt werden, um das Blatt festzuklemmen). Dieses hier für "Altsaxophon" (X-1RL) ist aber genau richtig für mein Tenor-Mundstück. Es wäre hilfreich, in der Produktbeschreibung bei beiden Mundstücken auf diese Einschränkung bzw. Ergänzung hinzuweisen.
