Perfect practice kit
I needed a kit for practicing quietly at home, and this setup convinced me because of the Bluetooth connectivity. You can easily connect the module wirelessly with your phone and play along to any track or app from your phone, which is what I needed to practice entire songs. The Bluetooth connection is fast and solid, no glitches and no hassle at all. There are a lot of fun practicing exercises built in the module. The standard kits sound great, you can tune the sounds further in the settings, or just add entirely other kits from a laptop. All the hardware is top quality, the cymbal and hihat pads and toms and hihat pedal work flawlessly. The build quality is super solid, and all the elements can be easily lowered and raised and tilted exactly to your liking. So all in all a super solid high quality platform with all the essential features you need for drum practice. UPDATE AFTER TWO years: still very happy. Kit hasn't bugged once. Solid and reliable. Roland is the way to go.

Nice drum set
The only problem is that I can't position every TOM exactly as I have in the regular drums where I learn. Otherwise, very high quality product.

The best for this price
I'm very happy with this e-drums.It's easy to set up and start playing.Response is good. The sticks bounce good from mesh heads and rubber cymbals.Maybe only the kit sounds must be little better.Maybe for beginer are fine and after time to buy more professional kit.

Top choice
Have it for half a year. With the first time I tried it I was very surprised. The set feels realistic, has many options. The e-unit has many many features. I use it for practice and for sessions with other people, so far very solid. The setup may need occasional tightening, but it is normal. The pads are very sensitive even on normal setup, they can be adjusted in both directions very easy. Yeah it is smaller compared to other brands for the same price but quality is top level. The hi-hat pedal its not perfect, I plan to buy Roland VH-10 12" hi-hat pad, too bad they don't have an option with that. In future will have to wonder what to do with the current pedal... Overall I am very happy with my choice. I love to just plug my phone and play over some songs...

Good but...
All in all, good quality. But the snare keeps moving out of place.

Excellent choice for practising at home but.....
This is a great product with excellent built quality indicating one more time that Roland is a top brand. But the major disadvantage is the default hi hat pedal which is very unresponsive and it is not as good and efficient as the rest of the equipment. However, this is something you can resolve if you replace it with the Roland FD-8 V-Drum Hi-Hat Controller (<a class="article link" href="roland_fd8_vdrum_hihatcontroller.htm">Roland FD-8 V-Drum Hi-Hat Controller</a>) . In overall, I totally recommend this drumset.

Great drum set
Great basic set for my son to train between acoustic trainings. You have to mention that you need to buy a kick pedal by yourself (I ve bought Tama Iron Cobra). But it is a good option to use real kick pedal instead poor electronic replacement. Builtin metronome and BT phone connection are useful.
