Nice sound, a bit expensive
Powerstroke 3 is almost a standart in bass drum heads now. Lots of "big guys" use it, and it is a great sounding drum head. It gives a really good bottom end, and is good for pop, hip hop and rock... Not the best choice for jazz, but it can handle that too. Price is not the friendliest, but it is worth it.

I put this on my Gretsch Catalina Club and it gives a great punch low-end tone while still being ultra responsive.

Highly Recommend
If you don't want permanently muffling sound on your kick, but you do want a strong punch, this is the way to go.
