Ich liebe das Teil!

Ich hatte vorher ein Practice Pad von Meinl, für das ich mich hauptsächlich entschieden hatte, weil es cool aussah. Das Spielgefühl hat mir dann allerdings überhaupt nicht gefallen, da der Rebound von der harten Gummioberfläche viel zu stark war. Außerdem ist mir und wahrscheinlich auch meinen Nachbarn das laute klackernde Geräusch auf die Nerven gegangen.

Also habe ich mich nach einem neuen Pad umgesehen und bin auf das Prologix Blue Lightning gestoßen. Der recht hohe Preis hat mich zunächst abgeschreckt, aber dann habe ich es mir doch gegönnt und ich muss sagen, ich bin begeistert!
Der Rebound ist viel schwächer und fühlt sich dadurch ungefähr wie ein Tom oder vielleicht sogar Floor Tom an. Da muss man schon ein bisschen mit den Fingern arbeiten. Das ist genau, was ich wollte.
Und es ist so schön leise! Ich übe damit sogar nachts, ohne meinen Nachbarn gegenüber ein schlechtes Gewissen haben zu müssen.
Der Rand für Rim Shots ist auch ganz nett, aber den benutze ich kaum, da er mir dann wieder zu laut ist.

Die Verarbeitung ist auch top, da gibt es überhaupt nichts zu meckern. Und auch optisch finde ich es ganz schick. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der recht hohe Preis, aber ich bin froh, es mir gekauft zu haben.
