I have used quite a few of these CAT cable on reel systems, perhaps 3-4 difrent brands and solutions. I prefer the one like this, it is easy to use. However its not flawless. On mine I added a Zip-tie to the little hole in the inner exit, as a sort of strain releif and to keep the cable from getting worn on the edge all the time. And the little tie thing on the cross is useless, Just add another to eatch end, attach one to handle and the other end to the cable on the cross. Thomann has some small straps that are perfect for the cause.
