Good splash, good price

I was positively surprised when this little bugger arrived. It sounds exactly like a splash should sound. At least to my ears...

I have a set of 201 Bronze hats, ride and 16' crash, and complemented it with the PST5 14`medium crash and this 8`splash. The sound of these two series work well together. The colour is also similar, although the newer PST5 has a more flashy/modern look.

Good sound for the price

This splash cymbal has a better sound than I expected for the money. The PST5 range is great value for money and would be suitable for both beginners and gigging drummers. The splash gives a bright musical sound providing nice effects for your music. If you're looking for this type of cymbal, look no further than this one.

Add the price, quick delivery and great service and this is the best place to add to your drum kit

Le son est étonnamment bon pour son petit prix, je possédais déjà une china de la gamme PST5.
Le son est équilibré, belle sonorité, bonne résonance (pas trop aigüe). Je la recommande

Un piccolo splash che sa sorprenderti

Seguivo questo splash da molto tempo ed avevo l'intenzione di inserirlo nel mio cymbal set il prima possibile. Dopo un attenta valutazione sul rapporto qualità/prezzo con altri splash, la mia scelta non poteva non ricadere su questo Paiste PST5 08".
Il prezzo è davvero irrisorio per quello che il piccolo piatto sa offrire e non è uno di quei casi in cui "se poco spendi, male spendi".
Fa il suo sporco lavoro e confrontato con altri splash della sua categoria, non c'è minimamente paragone: il PST5 Splash 08" vince su tutto.

- PRO&CONS -

PRO:
- Suono ottimamente bilanciato: sa stare al suo posto, ma ci sa sta stare quasi al pari di un piatto professionale (che costa 3 volte di più). Non è adatto per generi come metal e parenti stretti, ma per tutti gli altri va alla grande.
- Prezzo da mani nei capelli: se provate a cercare alternative, con 35€ forse potreste portarvi a casa un piatto da cucina in buona porcellana.
- Solidità: la qualità costruttiva non è quella di un piatto professionale, ma NON è nemmeno un pezzo di latta come il prezzo potrebbe suggerire. Abbiamo comunque a che fare con un bronzo B20.

CONS:
- Decay: in situazioni live con forti dinamiche, lo splash tende a sparire per il suo decay molto repentino. (Questo è davvero un cons? Dipende dalle situazioni.)
- O lo ami o lo odi: la pasta sonora è quella lì. Se si tende alla seconda opzione, valutate altro.
