Good but takes some tricks
Made a 3.5mm to 6.35mm TRS adapter with it.
Pros:
It takes up to 8mm diameter cables without needing a different chuck and boot.
It can do only 2 poles as well, for instance a TS to RCA adapter.
The pins are positioned in a triangle, similarly to an XLR connector, which is easier to solder than tipical pin positions on TRS connectors.
Cons:
The area around the pin cups is plastic and may melt if you get too close with the iron.
The latch lock is very hard to push down - the Neutrik website says it has a locking force of more than 80 Newtons. However, taking out the spring under the red latch lock can make it a lot easier - just slide the bar to the end to lock and slide back to unlock.
The boot is a little difficult to put on without creating a gap between the housing and the connector opening. A workaround is to screw the boot halfway on, then screw the small screw into the housing and then screw the boot fully on.

Headphone extension
Easy to solder, Neutrick high standard. I use it for extending my headphones signal. Works great, lock feature is amazing. Works with 80 and 250 ohm headphones.

Neutrik NJ3 FC-6
These are Neutrik so you can be rest assured with the quality. The locking input works well to avoid the jack slipping out. Bear in mind that this will need soldering but it's pretty easy to do after you've done a few different leads and sockets.

Works perfectly
I have an adaptor permanently plugged into this to take it down to a 3.5mm headphone jack. The clip keeps that adaptor in place securely. I use it for in-ear monitor and this in conjunction with quality cable has transformed the audio quality delivered to them.

Great quality product
Ive yet to find a neutrik product that doesn't do exacltly what it says, it's a great product with incredible build quality. The only thing that lets this down is my soldering!

Quite good.
Using it to extend a 15W tube amp speaker cable.
Not an easy one to solder, but once done it's ok.
Firmly stays locked.
No sign of heat so the job's done.

Well made from Neutrik. Good value for money. I find these to be the best but can need some maintenance over time.
