Millenium Mesh Head Beater

These beaters work great in reducing beater impact noise and sparing the sanity of those around you; plus they look kind of cool, like black tennis balls ; they feel really good as well, so for me it's a winner A++

Thought this was an unnecessary buy but since it was cheap I bought it. Well, even though the beaters are pretty much black tennis balls, it really changed the way my electric kick sounds. The dynamics are way more accurate now! You will have to get used to it for a day or two for sure but I totally recommend it!

These beaters are superb for mesh kick drums. In combination with a suitable protective patch the feel and weight is great.

Bought it in order to save some noise playing with my e kit.
Noise was significantly less and the beater feeling was good.

Feels good with a Evans protector patch on the millenium mesh head. very little weight to it so it should help to keep the mesh head protected. Also helps to cut sound even more compared to the dual sided felt / plastic beater I have so it will make your mesh head even quieter.

I use them for practice on a millenium rubber practice kick pad and work perfect with great rebound and much less sound and vibration. Highly recommend them even for that use.

I have a Roland KDB-Q and needed another quiet beater for a double pedal. I'm very happy with the Millenium one since it is the same quality and feel for a fraction of the price of the Roland equivalent. They both feel the same but the Millenium one is slightly wider, which may be an issue if you can't adjust the position of the beater on a double pedal.

Reduced noise but ate into the mesh head after about 2 months. Quick and good fix is to add a patch to the mesh head

Use this with my full size electronic bass drum and feeling is great. Noise on par with other beaters, though more of a thump than a smack.
