Meinl Darbuka HE-100
This small piece of hand percussion has great sound to it, although a bit quiet, it sounds more expensive than it is. No rim sticks up from the drum so hands are free to move more without the risk of catching them on the rim whilst playing faster strokes.
It's easy to transport which is a big plus in my opinion, and it sounds good when it has a microphone next to it.

For this price this is an excellent drum! I don´t know yet how strong the drum is but in this case that´s not an issue since it´s so cheap. :-)

travel darabuka
a good sound for such a small light darabuka. A much better sound than the larger aluminium ones. It will fit in handluggage so is useful for travelling.
