I bought this on manufacturers re commendation to bridge the gap between my 7G and 10. I needed something less baritonal than the 7G but not as penetrating as the 10. I play 1st trombone in a brass band on small bore and want to be manageable in the 2nd octave and rock safe in the 3rd octave. Job done.
