ME
Sublime sonic sculpture...
Matthew Elvis Brown 12.10.2019
Received Logan, plugged straight in with a squier tele through a Laney Cub 12R and was instantly inspired to create; recording a multi-track tune using the wide sonic palette of this pedal...

After seeing some youtube reviews from RJ Ronquillo and Stefan Fast, I was sold... The sweep-able mid range and ability to assign the sweep to an expression pedal had much appeal for me (and duly delivered).

I'm more of a pedals on a clean platform type of player and while this is not a high gain pedal it has plenty on tap for my needs (I would imagine that it works well stacked with other pedals or amp channels as part of a bigger layered gain structure).

I use the ehx deluxe big muff with an expression pedal on the mids which is really cool - in contrast Logan really sounds much more like a wah when sweeping over the boosted mids - and it has a phaser like quality while sweeping over the cut mids - Extremely versatile!

With the very musical sounding gain (to my ears) and a healthy amount of boost, this one is a keeper for sure.

Have only tested with single coils so far but plan to try it with humbuckers very soon and hope to report back with my findings.

In case you can't tell already, I love this pedal!

Really looking forward to getting my hands on Cirrus... I may have inadvertantly been indoctrinated in to the way of KMA Machines!

Awesome overdrive
ChuckJoris 13.05.2020
I use this overdrive to boost/EQ the distortion from my amp and it sounds great! You have a very responsive bass and treble knob, and a (switchable) mid boost. It's really easy to use and the build quality is superb.

As a standalone overdrive in front of a clean amp it sounds really transparant and has a nice bite to it. Is has quite a lot of gain for an overdrive, definitely enough for al your rock/hard rock needs.

Only downside is the Treble/bass knobs are a little to responsive, they are very tiny and a little finicky.

Overall one of the most versatile OD's I used, also the artwork is amazing!

Not the usual overdrive
Xristos 11.01.2020
I use the pedal as an overdrive and as a clean boost when i split coils on my guitar.
The thing I like the most is that it responds very well with the playing. If you hit the strings heavily it will bring out more gain, if not then it will act like its just a boost. The notes are clear no matter how dirty you set it and i can hear my self even in a heavy mix.
The drive knob makes the gain ascend smoothly, also reacts good with the guitars knobs, and other drive pedals. It is also a great pre amplifier or base to stack other effects.

Warum noch eine Zerre/Distortion/Overdrive ???..... Darum!!!
Athom 23.03.2020
