Product oozes quality. I am finally happy seeing more products made in Europe!

Great tabletop, and with a few small additional accessories, floor microphone stand too. Make sure to get the following, extra parts for it which will allow you to switch back and forth between tabletop, sitting and standing sessions:

1. K&M Capstan Head Black - it will allow you to tighten the extension arm even more, especially when you are going to attach a heavier mic like Podmic to it with the arm almost fully extended.

2. 1x K&M Tube Kombination f 260 + 260/1 - if you would like to keep the stand on the floor right beside your computer desk.

3. A few K&M Cable Holders - 15mm - for neater cable management!

4. Optional: 1x K&M 20005-300.55 - for standing-up sessions. Used instead of the No.2 item.

Very happy with it!

AF
Awesome Little Stand!
Artur F 11.11.2020
This small stand is probably the greatest small microphone stand. I needed a short stand for a rather heavy set of two ribbon Mics arranged as Blumlein pair. I was in doubt if the base would be heavy enough to provide a suitable counterweight, but it worked as a charm! The base is really heavy and the stand is perfectly stable.

Built like a tank. Weighs like a tank

It's as solid as it gets. I can't imagine any mic being large enough to tip it over. All parts seem quality made, but the problem is, this stability comes at the cost of weight, so if you have to transport it, it adds a lot of weight to all of your equipment. Other than that, it's great.

scared of damaging them too easily

not the most practical to transport, but when its on stage it feels really safe and sturdy. I build it down for transport and always worry about being very gentle when unscrewing it from the base. the base is so heavy i worry that if it falls or trips, that the neck, joint or something will immediately break, but that didnt happen to me yet.

I work at a festival where most bands want to play sitting down, so bought some small stands, and this one was working all weekend long and never disappointed. If you are careless or amateur you could hurt someone with one of these stands, so take care.

for a studio it seems great =) I use it for musicians sitting on the floor that need vocals or a sdc for their instrument, for cajon, kick drum etc.
