Ich habe die Ibanez AS93SP-BK ausprobiert und war sofort vom edlen Look und der Verarbeitung beeindruckt. Der Hals liegt super angenehm in der Hand und die Mensur spielt sich leicht, auch längere Sessions sind kein Problem. Klanglich liefert sie warme, offene Töne mit viel Charakter – perfekt für Jazz, Blues oder Classic Rock. Die Super-80 Humbucker klingen klar und ausgewogen, für High-Gain-Metal sind sie aber eher nicht gedacht.

Besonders gefallen haben mir die Resonanz des Semi-Hollow-Korpus und die saubere Bundierung. Die goldene Hardware und die schönen Inlays machen optisch richtig was her. Rückkopplungen können bei hoher Lautstärke auftreten, was bei dieser Bauweise normal ist.

Wer eine vielseitige Semi-Hollow mit tollem Spielgefühl sucht, liegt also hier genau richtig.
