Hat absolute Schwachstellen

Ich war krank und musste länger das Bett hüten. Daher brauchte ich eine Gitarre, die da mit reinpasste. Eine normalgroße ist da nicht so recht geeignet.
Das diese Gitarre kopflastig ist, was allgemein bemängelt wird, damit muss man beim Kauf eigentlich rechnen. Das ist für mich kein Mangel.

Habe sie jetzt längere Zeit gespielt und da sind ganz andere Mängel die ich bei der Gitarre sehe:

Die Mechaniken, die absolut nicht in der Lage sind, die Stimmung zu halten, sind schon Murks. Habe sie mittlerweile gegen Schaller-Mechaniken gewechselt, die fast so teuer waren, wie die ganze Klampfe.
Der zweite Baustelle, die ich demnächst beseitigen werde, ist diese unsinnige Brücke. Durch den gleich daneben platzierten Tonabnehmer kann man die Seiten nur sehr mühsam drunter durch einfädeln. Man kommt eigentlich gar nicht ran. Wenn eine einzelne Seite mal reißt, kann man sich auf eine längere Bastelpause einrichten. Diese Brücke wird demnächst auch ersetzt.
Irgendwie werde ich auch mal schauen, ob ich den Tonabnehmer nicht auch gleich noch tausche. Ist absolut nicht mein Höhr-Geschmack.

Selbst wenn diese Gitarre sehr preiswert ist, könnte Höfner da mal nachbessern.

Mit Upgrade halbwegs O.K.

Ich habe mir die Shorty als Sofa- und Reisgitarre zugelegt. Die verbauten Mechaniken waren das pure Grauen. Mit ein paar einfachen Klusons aufgerüstet hält das Teil jetzt endlich die Stimmung. Ersetzen einzelner Saiten ist ein Heidenspaß und gelingt nur den Geschicktesten.

Der Hals ist angenehm, die Gitarre an sich aber dermaßen unbalanciert, dass sie sich wirklich schlecht spielen lässt.
Fürs Üben auf dem Sofa reichts, auf Reisen halbwegs entspannt spielen wird schon eng.

Eine schöne Reisegitarre !

Habe die Gitarre für meinen Enkel gekauft ! Er kommt mit der langen Mensur gut zurecht ! Klingt für die Bauweise recht gut ! Ist relativ bundrein und hält die Stimmung ! Bin eigentlich zufieden.
