Harley Benton Violin Strings 4/4 Steel

Rope cored strings. Way softer than the blank steel ones that come on cheap violins. The silver wound G string is also nice and bright sounding. The other aluminium wound ones do leave some gray markings on the fingerboard but that just rubs off easy with fingers.

Superb! I inadvertently snapped a string on my NEW 990BEM (another goodie from Thomann) - my bad, messing around with the initial tuning, so I got a set. Excellent sound (I replaced all the strings and keep the original 3 as spares). I recommend investing in a set and keeping it in the voilin case - I do (got another set). Just started to learn violin so no experience in terms of durability etc. Nevertheless - recommended.

All the money you will pay for these guitar strings will go to waste. Within 1 month, all the bass strings start to break. Stay away.
