Very well combination of magnetic pickup with mic
Since i had already a sh30pro i knew how good it sounds.
This time i installed it on a solid spruce top solid mahogany back side acoustic. First i tried on the Roland street cube EX which was nice. i had to play against as part of a whole band.
At home i tried the guitar directly into a Hi-Z input of the Zoom Livetrak 12. The sound thru the studio monitors was great but...
then i activate my active Alto speaker set + plus the 600W sub and the sound is controlled by a DBX Go Rack (discontinued) where i activated the eq comp and subharmonics.
Wow... this was gorgeous, the mic combination gave a lot of clarity in the higher frequencies and the pickup helped the Dbx to generate those subharmonics.
I defently want to try it out in a crowdy pub where i have to increase the volume and the eq of the DBX will have to be changed. I hope i will find the same balance between the sub and the tops back at higher volume levels without having to struggle with to much acoustic feedback .
That is for the coming months. i will let you know the result by then.

So good !
Very good quality product. I use it on a GS Mini mahogany and the similar color of the wood of the pickup compliments the guitar. But more importantly it’s has a natural beautiful sound

The best sounding guitar system I've tried
Sounds incredibly good for what it is - basically makes DI guitar viable even for demo recordings with the right compressors and EQ. Genuinely astounding, not just for the price, it vastly outcompetes any Martin/Taylor built in system.
I wish you could turn down the magnetic pickup, however, not just the mic. With the mic on full volume you get a great sound, but for quiet no-feedback environments I'd like to have the balance even more in favor of the mic.
Currently I believe the system has two controls: Overall volume and Mic Volume. Overall volume and a Blend control would be better in my opinion to get rid of the magetic pickup entirely.

Very good & value for money.
This pickup is excellent especially when you take into account the cost. I haven't gigged with it yet but have used it for recording and rehearsal and it is very easy to use, when you get the mix between the mic and magnetic P/U it sounds great, very well balanced across all six strings. I would say very close to the natural sound of my acoustic guitar. I've tried other P.Us and my own preference is Fishman but this is in my opinion close and half the price.
Interestingly I've also used it for recording with my acoustic bass and it surprisingly, works really well, very bassy and again well balanced across the four strings.
Well worth the money and definitely worth a look at.
