My best guitar
Anonymous 30.09.2015
I bought two Guild Starfire. One green in maple and one red in mahogny. I liked the maple one the best. It has a very balanced sound between the pickups and an even, almost compressed sound between the strings. The mahogny one sound more dull, especially on the neck pickup, but at the same time it has unpleasantly spiky sounds on the bridge pickup. Both are very well built and has a low action without buzz. Amongst all my guitars, Gibson and Fenders and so on, this is the best one.

Absolutely lovely light heavyweight!
Anonymous 05.06.2016
Due to severe back and neck injuries, I was looking for a lightweight (semi-hollow) HB equipped guitar. After considering PRS, Gretsch, Hagstrom and the likes, I stumbled on this beauty.

This Emerald Green version looks stunning and its build quality is absolutely flawless. My main concerns were the neck (I don't like the Gibson chunky neck) and the TOM style bridge (hated it on my Les Paul).

Once I plugged it in however, all my worries dissipated.
This classy looking guitar is an absolute breeze to play and you can take it from mellow jazzy sounds over blues to an absolute howling and growling beast! And unlike Gibson, this thing stays in tune thanx to the Grover tuners

At less than half the price of a Gibson ES335 or a top-rate Gretsch, this is an absolute no-brainer! Grover Sta-tite tuners and case are included.

Guild is back in great style!!!
