Poor quality nuts...
Great stand in terms of lightness, stability (once tightened VERY hard) and ease of use. Carrying bag a real bonus for those fussy about their gear (like me)! However, extremely disappointed in the fastening nuts on the leg support buttresses. Kept coming loose and had to tighten them after every gig. Eventually lost a couple and had to buy locking nuts from the local hardware. Could only get them in silver and now the stands look ugly and mismatched. First world problem I know, and not Thomann's fault, but would have expected better from Gravity.

Loving It
This is the best speaker stand package I ever got. wow so light to carry around and as well very strong to hold your heavy speaker all night long. Light and strong Aluminum, beautifully made speaker stand. The carry-on bag is strong and well padded its protect your lovely speaker stand from wear and tear (scratching). If you are looking for a light and strong great speaker stand I personally recommend Gravity SS 5211 B Set 1 Speaker Stand.

A huge upgrade from my previous PAR bar stands
Previously I had two Stageworx BLS-315 for my Stairville CLB5 PAR bar but they were heavy, the cases were rubbish and difficult to handle and they were a little too long for the width of my boot, so they had to go in the foot space of the rear seats in my estate car, which was a pain.
These Gravity stands don't go quite as high as the Stageworx ones, but that hasn't been a problem for me. I play sat down, to a standing audience, often without a stage, but I would say that they are still tall enough to be able to angle all of the lights to not blind you or your audience.
They fit comfortably in the boot of my car with the rest of my PA. So I would imagine that they're not too long for most estate boots to accommodate them.
The pair of them weigh less than a single Stageworx BLS-315 and that alone makes set up and pack down notably easier.
The case they come in is great! It's probably better than any of the other cases that I have for my PA. The handle is well padded and very comfortable. The padding around the stands is excellent too and the double zip 'tongue' is quick to open and close and you don't have to fight to get the stands in or out of the case.
Would thoroughly recommend. They're not that much more expensive than the Stageworx ones, I wish I'd just bought these in the first place

Excellent quality, look cool.
I use these 5/6 nights a week with a pair of Mackie 450s.
Pros:
Super lightweight.
Nice rubber grips on the handles.
Stable.
Carry bag is well made and compact.
Cons:
It'd be nice to have a sprung safety catch instead of the dangling bar that you slot though a hole. (not a big deal)
I have to set up and pack down a pa every night at different venues and the novelty wore off years ago so lightweight and ease of use are the two most important things for me. These tick the box on both counts.
Really good quality. These were my first purchase of a Gravity product and I've already bought more of their stuff.

Gravity speaker stand
I am a beginner, so for my use they are perfect. Stability is very good, I havent had any trouble with it. Setup is very easy. There is only one problem. They scratch easy. Top part got scratched during first use, it is not visible, because of the speakers, but when you put the speakers off, the scratches are very obvious. Other than that, very good set of stands, and for the price, they are awesome.

Excellent
Very high quality, and stable, with decent thumbscrew/wheels that are really comfortable to use.
The looks and finish are excellent.
The case is as high quality as the stand.
This is my 2nd set, My first set of 2 years old died under the wheels of a truck which reversed over the case, they were still as new.
I did not even research other makes, just ordered the same again.

Perfect lightweight semi-pro stands
I bought these to replace the ancient steel stands I had been using for more than 2 decades. I wanted something lighter, and with a transport case. They are used to support either The Box PA302 passive speakers, or Behringer B212D active speakers.
The plusses. Lovely sturdy soft case that makes carrying them around so easy. Lightweight and almost all aluminium construction. Safety pins for the internal extension poles. Easy to use soft tightening knobs. Precision machining means they are very easy to erect and take down. Love the green highlights (childish, I know, but they do look good).
The minuses. The knobs have to be tightened very hard to prevent the poles slipping against the base housing. Lots of cap nuts which IMO are not the best long term solution. I’ll replace them with nylocks in due course.
In order to avoid the base housing from sliding against the main pole it would be ideal if there were safety pins there too, or a simple metal grommet to stop the base from moving too far down the pole.
That said I am very happy with this purchase, and I am sure that if used with care they will outlast me. Recommended.
