Just felt I had to write this review for the benefit of anyone in the uk buying from here .
I ordered a Gibson j45 and it was a very good price which included all taxes and import duty.
Unfortunately the guitar wasn’t to my liking and I emailed to request a refund.
They couldn’t have been more helpful and organise the pickup of the guitar and gave me options as to what day works for me .
And considering it had to go back to there warehouse in Germany it was a very quick refund.
So anyone from the uk looking to buy a instrument I would highly recommend them just a shame the guitar didn’t live up to my expectations ( not their fault).

Excelent instrument with as expected, strong and clear sound proyection. Superb vibrato and bendings. Top mechanics, excelent finition. A instrument of emblematic players, full of history, confimating again his prestige.

Love this guitar :). Amazing sound, excellent playability and quality.
Only bummer is the fact that the price went down about 260 Euro just one week after I had bought it, but still no regrets!

Broken factory seal

The guitar was listed and sold as new, but arrived with a broken Gibson factory seal, visible signs of handling (fingerprints on the tuning machines), several scratches on the finish, and some residue on one of the frets.
Sonically, the guitar sounded amazing, which made the situation even more disappointing given the condition it arrived in.
Thomann support was polite, but was unable to clarify whether the instrument had been previously returned or opened before shipping.

I hope this was a one-time issue, as my previous experiences with Thomann have been very positive.
