Modelling workstation for guitar and bass

Neatly packaged in a road-ready floorboard casing, the Fender Tone Master Pro offers musicians the authentic sounds of over a hundred different amps and effects from the Fender Tone Master series as well as many other popular amps, including the first officially licensed version of the EVH 5150 III Stealth. On top of that, there are thousands of integrated impulse responses, with a host of speaker and mic options for phenomenal flexibility and enormous sonic variety. Third-party IRs are also supported, meaning the Fender Tone Master Pro offers even more flexibility. Its suitability for professional musicians is further bolstered by the device's many connection options, allowing musicians of all kinds – not just guitarists and bass players – to connect their instruments using the integrated XLR/jack combo socket. And the Tone Master Pro's 7" touchscreen makes operation as easy as it is intuitive.

Clearly structured interface

The 7" colour touchscreen display mentioned above (placed front and centre on the device's main panel) and two encoder wheels make access to the Fender Tone Master Pro's colossal arsenal of sounds and countless internal functions easy, indeed effortless. There are ten robust metal switches, each with an LCD "Scribble Strip", and differently coloured rings, which can be configured to activate presets or many other functions, including the integrated looper, or to determine the speed of the many time-sensitive effects like delay, flange, or vibrato (tap tempo). Each switch is also designed to function as an encoder wheel, allowing the chosen parameter to be quickly and precisely configured with the help of the appropriate miniature LCD screen.

Comprehensive connectivity

The word "pro" is sometimes overused, but the Fender Tone Master Pro genuinely is designed for professional musicians; alongside its huge range of functions and its studio-grade sound, there is a truly comprehensive array of connections right on the unit's top panel. As well as a jack for guitars and basses, and a balanced XLR input for microphones or other line-level signals, the device boasts two FX loops for patching in external effects, two balanced XLR and cinch outputs, an unbalanced stereo output, a headphone jack, and connections for expression pedals and for switching to external amps (Amp Control). This extraordinary diversity of options is rounded off with a MIDI interface, Bluetooth connectivity, a micro-SD slot, and a USB-C port for direct recording or for editing the pedal's many functions with the Tone Master Pro Control app.

About Fender

Fender is without doubt one of the most legendary guitar and amplifier manufacturers of all time. The company was founded in 1946 by its namesake Leo Fender († 1991), whose innovative ideas brought a breath of fresh air into the musical world. His Telecaster, Stratocaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass are not only classics – they also continue to shape the styles of musicians in countless genres to this day. Timeless Fender amplifier models such as the Bassman, Twin, Deluxe, and Princeton also enjoy a stellar reputation. Besides maintaining its classic product portfolio, however, the company is also constantly developing new products that make Fender a driving force in today’s music industry.

The ultimate tool for pros

With its incomparable stable of sounds, its unbelievable number of IRs, its effortless and intuitive usability, and the huge variety of connectivity options, the Fender Tone Master Pro is simply the ultimate tool for pro musicians. Ideal for use as a modeller for guitars and basses, the pedal – with its robust and high-grade metal casing – offers a broad spectrum of amps, speakers, and first-class effects in astonishing quality, as well as many useful extras, like a stereo looper with 60-second recording memory, for instant jammability. Also noteworthy is the microphone connection, allowing musicians to complement their performances with acoustic instruments or line-level signals of all kinds. And weighing in at just 4kg (under 9lbs), the Fender Tone Master Pro can even be stowed in a gig bag, ready to be brought to the next venue or studio.

Phenomenally flexible

The range of functions on offer to users of the Fender Tone Master Pro covers the entire palette of sound manipulation for both guitars and basses, making the pedal a real all-rounder. It is perfectly suited to be part of a traditional practice or live setup with a power amp and speakers, for four or six strings, but it will be equally happy connected directly to a mixing desk or recording interface, thanks to its balanced outputs. Alternatively, it can easily be used with a computer via the USB-C interface, recording directly to a hard drive while the sounds and presets are edited in real time on the computer screen. The Fender Tone Master Pro is undoubtedly one of the most flexible pedals on the market, and is sure to give some of the established competitors in the sector more than a few sleepless nights!

This time it's different. Easy to use out of the box.
Timddeb. 20.12.2024
We have a hd several goes at this type of box. This is the first one we have not had to refer to the manual. We have acheived our sounds in quite a short period, and found the interface intuitive and easy to use. The sounds are quite clear and easy to customize. Me and the wife both have one and use them differently but have no issues. SO Guitar sounds are great, what about the vocal input? Fine also. In fact we took everything except harmonizing away from our other equipment and just run the output into the desk with no further processing. Easy to use with a sophisticated sound engine which has lots of headroom. We haven't managed to upset it or overdrive them yet. Cons? Not really. Wish list? 1 Autowah 2/ Voval harmonizer. Thanks Fender.

Fender ToneMaster Pro – Digital Velvet That Truly Inspires
Fred66 (EST) 10.04.2026
I have spent the past week deep-diving into the **Fender ToneMaster Pro**, and I must say: this isn't just another multi-effects pedal; it is a true masterpiece of engineering. As a long-time user of various Boss products, I was accustomed to a certain digital standard, but the sheer authenticity of the Fender’s soundscape took me completely by surprise.

### Technical Excellence: AKM and "Velvet Sound"
The deciding factor for my purchase was the research I did into the hardware "under the hood." Fender has made a bold and brilliant move by utilizing electronics from the Japanese company **Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM)**. This is the same high-end circuitry trusted by industry leaders like **RME** for their professional studio interfaces.

This choice pays off immediately:
* **Noise-free Dynamics:** The AKM chipset reduces digital artifacts and distortion to an absolute minimum.
* **Emotional Clarity:** True to its **"Velvet Sound"** branding, the technology delivers an incredibly smooth, natural, and dynamic tone that preserves the emotional nuance and warmth of your playing.

### That Elusive "Dumble" Tone
For a long time, I have been searching for that specific, harmonically rich, and touch-sensitive "Dumble-style" sound. The included **Rampage Blueline** model delivers exactly that—it is sweet, articulate, and feels truly "alive" under your fingers.

### Final Thoughts
Fender has done an amazing job with their latest innovations. They haven't just focused on a long list of features; they have prioritized sonic purity and the authenticity of the playing experience. If you are looking for a device where cutting-edge technology meets musical soul, the ToneMaster Pro is the one.

**Wishing you all inspiration and beautiful music!**
