Great fat sound
I bought this and a 14" as an upgrade for my Sonor jungle kit. Pleased to report that they gave me the fatter sound i was looking for over the heads provided as standard.

Great drum head!
To get full and fat sound from my Sonor Prolite toms the Evans Black Chrome turned out as a great choise. The Sonor "vintage shells" in general are drums that go well along with two ply heads that leans towards the heavy side.
With these heads I get a strong and very clean tone, and the drums are very easy to tune. These heads are "pre eq'ed". No need for any kind of damping, the sound is easy to control. The sound techs are very happy with the sound from the Prolites with these heads, and its because it is easy to make the drums sound huge and powerfull.
- Easy to control. - Powerfull tone with the right amount of ring.
Highly recommended heads for any kind of drums if you search for a full sound with power and low end, and heads that are easy to tune.
