Big, but handy module

Maybe a bit bulky, but a lot of features as final mixer/Interface.
Love separate levels, 6.3 jacks, and some CVs.
Also, bigger module means bigger knobs, which is good for proper level adjustment.

Perfekter Ausgang für perfekte Musik

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Output Module V2 von Erica Synths. Die Qualität der Verarbeitung sowie das Erlebnis am Ausgang sind wie bei allen Geräten von Erica Synths einwandfrei. Ich nutze das Ausgangsmodul auf zwei Arten in meinem Heimstudio:
1. Direkt angeschlossen an meinen aktiven KRK Studio-Abhörlautsprechern mit 6,3 mm balanced Kabel.
2. Bei Bedarf in mein Mischpult und dann zur DAW. Beides möglich, wobei Letzteres auch mit dem passiven Link Modul von Erica Synths ausreichend möglich ist.

Das Output Module V2 ist aber mehr als nur ein reines Ausgangsmodule. Wer bis zu vier Soundquellen mischen möchte, der spart sich im Grunde ein extra Mischmodul. Die vier Soundquellen werden in den Stero-Summenausgang gemischt. Input 1 und 2 sind jeweils mit einem Potentiometer für die Balance ausgestattet. Für Input 3 steht ein CV Pan zur Verfügung. Input 4 ist ein Stereoeingang (2 Input-Buchsen). Sehr praktisch ist der Masterregler, er regelt wie der Name schon sagt das Stero-Summensignal aller vier Inputs. Für den Kopfhöreranschluss (6,3 mm Klinge) ist ebenfalls ein separater Lautstärke-Poti vorhanden.
Abschließend möchte nochmals zusammenfassen, dass der Sound aus diesem Modul sich wirklich hören lassen kann. Kein Rauschen und kein Verzerren bei hoher Lautstärke. Ein kleiner Tipp noch zum Schluss. Ich werde mir für den Masterregler einen farbigen Knob zulegen. Ich denke da an die Farbe Rot. Somit finde ich wenn es mal darauf ankommt sofort den Lautstärkeregler bei all den vielen Knöpfen im Board.

Eher fürs Auge als fürs Ohr

Das ist mein erstes Modul von Erica Synths. Ich hatte mich für diesen Mixer entschieden, weil mich zum Einen das Design sehr anspricht. Zum Anderen finde ich den Aufbau intuitiv und dennoch Platz sparend. Das hat sich in der Praxis auch bewährt, ich mag die wuchtigen Potis und die pragmatische Struktur. Leider überzeugt mich das Modul aber klanglich nicht. Ich hab viel ausprobiert, weil ich es nicht wahrhaben wollte, aber egal, welchen Klangerzeuger ich einspeise, der Mixer von Erica Synths macht die Sounds nach meinem Empfinden immer pappig und matt. Es ist nicht nur die Dynamik, die stark abflacht, ich habe den Eindruck, dass auch Obertöne verloren gehen. Vielleicht ist das Modul auf Klangerzeuger aus dem eigenen Hause perfektioniert. Aber dem Moog nimmt es leider den hochgeschätzten Biss. Dem Odessa die Brillanz. Hinzu kommen hohes Grundrauschen und Verzerrungen, jedoch ohne Mojo-Charme. Am Ende mixe ich dann doch immer wieder über Mackie und suche fürs Eurorack nach einer besser klingenden Alternative. Mein Fazit: Eher was fürs Auge als fürs Ohr. Oder lieber nur mit anderen Erica Synths Modulen verwenden.
