great sounding pickups
brutal, thick, power

But the installation is not that easy
(i installed them in a V shape)
It's only for les pauls and still it's not that easy for people who have never changed pickups, but if you want to learn, get these, try and rock

Very mid forward. The split coil functionality on the neck pickup is a very nice bonus.
My first emg pickups and was amazed with how versatile this are.
Mounted it on a HB sc500 without any trouble (apart from the necessary routing for the battery compartement).
Recomend it.
