Great for splashes and small cymbals.

I use this to hold more cymbals on my stands to make my hardware bag lighter.
It is easy to position the cymbal, and sometimes I switch the top part of this and the cymbal boom on my stand, so that its even easier to set my cymbal in the perfect spot.
Ive owned two of these for over 10 years and they work perfectly still.

A great idea from D.W. but not as useful as you might think.These are most functional on long boom arms,there's just not enough distance between 2 cymbals with a puppy bone mounted on a short boom (unless its 2 splashes).Having said this on a long boom arm it's a fantastic had on.
