Z
best JP signature pick
Zoli133 09.11.2020
I tried a lot of picks, and my standard was the toretex jazz III, but these feels better, steady in the hand, has a great feel to it, it's a joy to play with them. Sometimes feel a bit too thick, but it is something that I can manage, get used to it. Not sure if I stay with these, bit I'm pretty sure that out of the JP picks, these are the best ones.

N
Finally, the right pick
Neilx 17.03.2025
I've tried all sorts of picks for both blues rhythm and solo improvisation and the instant I started to use these picks I could tell they are right for me. 2mm gives the same stiffness as the 3mm Stubbies I had used in the past but without the weight and bigness feel. The sound is crisp an clear and seems to make it more fun to improvise. They are still a bit clicky on rhythm parts but that doesn't get into the sound system too much. Overall, I think I have found the right pick for me.

Too heavy and a little uncomfortable.
Diegoness 24.08.2021
I'm used to Paul Gilbert's picks, but I decided to try these on a friend's recommendation. In fact, the first few times I played with this pick, the feeling is that it helped with the accuracy of the alternate picking, but after a few days, using this pick became uncomfortable for me.

Perfect for thick pick users
Yousef 07.05.2021
I always used to suffer from thin picks slipping out of my fingers and falling, especially with strumming chords or doing fast chuggy palm mutes. This product saved me from those problems. Grip is great and its heavy enough to stay in its place and not slip out of my fingers. Very comfortable too.

My go-to picks, very worth the price for a rhythm guitarist such as myself with grip surprisingly good given the material. The signature and logo do brush away really easily, so if you care about those I guess just- don't use the picks...or touch them, really.

This is my favourite pick for jazz guitar! Silky smooth yet solid grip + thicker sound + yummy color = let's go! Almost lost my only one last year visiting my 7-year-old niece who loved the shimmer. She's over the glitter phase this year so I get to keep all of these!

Nice grip
hsf_guitar 19.04.2021
They have a better grip than I expected.. They are quite round, so quite comfortable to play fast. The only issue I noticed is that it causes a bit more chirp when played than my previous 1.5mm pick. But that's normal with this gauge and how round it is.

C
Great feel, good sound
Cornelix 28.12.2018
I love the grip and feel of this pick. It's got surprisingly good clarity for being so thick. Sounds great on 6 string electrics in E standard. For acoustic and drop tuned/extended range electric guitars, I prefer the brighter sound of a thinner pick. The blue 0.73 mm flow pick is great for those applications, but one should definitely give this one a try.

This pick is something else. Well made and let's you really fly over the fretboard.
It loses some grip though when you're sweating, but you can get used to that I guess.

Heavy. Steady. Pointy
Panos_Oikonomo 20.06.2019
If you need a thicker pick than 1.38 mm then try this one.
The grip is good, the material feels matte to the touch and the play-ability especially for rhythmic parts is great.
I use the signature Jazz III from John for practicing leads though.
