Stylophone Beat

A very interesting gadget for jamming and playing around, but at the same time a powerful tool for creating serious audio landscapes and experimenting. Easy to use, especially if you already have some experience with drum machines and grooveboxes.

After a week of exploring it, I can see it earning a place among the instruments I use regularly. Recommended for both hobbyists and professionals looking for some experimentation and fun.

It's a very basic drum machine which also incorporates bass sounds, operated with a stylus, pretty intuitively (like all stylophones). It has a few different sounds for bass and drums, a looper with adjustable click and quantised recording. When you playback a loop you can also filter the sound. Don't expect it to be what it's not - it's definitely toylike, and it's pretty cool and fun. Can get your creative juices flowing. If you like stylophones or lofiness in general, it's a neat addition.
