Great CV tool for every modular system

The precision adder is a great way to expand sequencers and add or subtract voltages, if nothing is plugged into the inputs every switch adds or subtracts 1volt.
It's a cheap and versatile unit so a definite must own in every modular system.
I cannot think of anything negative about this module.
I already have 2 and I'm going to add one or two more, couldn't live without the 185-2 anymore.

I have 5 of these now and they are integral to my rigs functionality.
Fantastic Module.
However, when you use multiple Adders make sure you remove the jumper so they don't use the same CV bus.

OK. We all know the problem with unpowered multiples. They can lose voltage and make your pitch CVs flat. The same kind of problem can happen if you use A-138a/b mixers to add pitch CVs.

If you have a sequence that you want to add a voltage to in order to transpose patterns, you could try using a mixer but that will sound awful. Instead grab an A-185-2 and it does the job accurately.

You can both add and subtract values and so using the A-173 mini keyboard is a dream combo (just make sure you use clocked or triggered release to synchronise changes).

I ended up buying a second A-185-2 because, once I had the first, I kept finding new uses for it. A belter of a utility module.

This is Doepfers version of buffered multiple and it's well up for the task, as well as worth it's price tag. Recommended if you wanna play more than 2-3 oscillators at once.
