Superb compact 8 step sequencer

Doepfer quality build, I think everything is said with this - nevertheless a great compact sequencer with great features. Although a simple cv control over anything could easily put this sequencer in a league of its own, but I understand the limitations.

8 steps are a bit limiting as well, but can be easily circumvented with multiple play directions. Handles audio rate clocks amazing as well.

Doepfer Mini-Sequencer A-155-2

Hallo,

seit ein paar Tagen habe ich nun den o. g. Sequencer von Doepfer. Der erste rein äußerliche Eindruck war schon mal ganz gut.

Was die Bedienung angeht, empfindet das sicherlich jeder anders. Ich selber habe nicht die schlankesten Finger aber komme dennoch einigermaßen damit klar. Das Bedienkonzept selbst ist für mich selbsterklärend und leicht zu bedienen. Also Tastenkombination um Laufrichtung, Ratcheting etc. einzustellen. Hinsichtlich der fehlenden internen Clock kann man geteilter Meinung sein, weil man daher ein externes Signal (Modul) braucht um das Teil zu starten. Aber wer ein modulares Synth-System betreibt, hat sicherlich eine LFO mit Rechteck-Ausgang frei um den Sequenzer damit zu versorgen. Die mindestens 3 Volt zum auslösen sollte jeder z. b. LFO liefern können. Funktionieren tut`s auch mit jedem anderen Rechteck-Puls. Ich nutze den Gate-Ausgang eines anderen Sequencers. Interessant ist, dass man den A-155-2 auch als graphischen VCO nutzen kann. Da bin ich aber gerade erst dabei das ausgiebig zu testen (als Quelle zur Zeit Behringer 1004 VCO).

Fazit: Der Doepfer A-155-2 macht genau das was er wie auf der Herstellerseite beschrieben, können soll. Deshalb bleibt er bei mir und geht nicht zurück :-)
