DiMarzio Air Norton S DP180 Creme

I'm using this pickup between two other humbuckers: The Tone Zone on the bridge, and PAF PRO 36th anniversary on the neck. It corresponds wonderfully with both of them, sounding especially well on the clean channel or slight overdrive. It has a creamy and round sound, very balanced with pronounced bottom and mids and articulate but not overemphasized highs. Decidedly cuts through despite being a mid-output signal humbucker. In the split-coil mode it becomes a more 'pearly' or 'glittery', sounding very strat-like, losing some of the bottom, but remaining wet and pronounced.

Overall, a really well designed humbucker, suitable for players who love blues and jazz, also for all those who are looking for a warm and well-shaped tone.
