Really great standalone. I'm not 100% keen on the weird layout, but it does everything you need it to and is super portable, so no complaints really.

I think this was a very solid investment for a absolute beginner and aspiring DJ to get into the game. It has huge headroom to grow into and pro level features. I really like the fact that it is portable enough to take with me basically everywhere.

Tolle DJ-Workstation auch im Standalone-Betrieb ohne PC

Mein erstes DJ (Digital Jockey) Gerät, nachdem ich über 40 Jahre Musik als DJ (mit Schallplatten, CDs, MiniDisc und Laptop mit alcatech BPM-Studio drauf) mache. Und Donnerwetter, ich bin schwer begeistert! Unzählige Funktionen, die ich bis ins kleinste noch gar nicht alle ausprobieren konnte, weil der DENON DJ Prime GO+ erst im Oktober 2024 auf den Mark kam. Soundsystem oder Kopfhörer dran und los geht es schon mit den mitgelieferten Demo-Tracks auf dem Gerät. Markieren, in die Player laden, Play drücken und er spielt schon los.

Ok, man muss schon etwas googeln und einige Lern-Videos anschauen, um damit immer besser klar kommen zu können. Aber es hat geklappt und läuft prima!

Nachdem der Prime Go+ ins WLAN angemeldet wurde, meldete er auch gleich einen aktuelleren Softwarestand von DENON als den der im Gerät vorinstalliert ist. Der Download hat direkt am Prime Go+ (ohne PC) ohne Probleme funktioniert. Dafür das Netzteil unbeding anschliessen!

Viele Funktionen, wie z.B. den Sample-Player, der sich hinter der Roll-Funktion versteckt (Roll zweimal drücken) habe ich mit Web-Unterstützung sofort hinbekommen. Die Software "Denon engine 4.0.1" läuft heute auf meinem Prime Go+. Diese Software läßt sich kostenlos auch auf den PC zuhause installieren.

Musik auf der SD-Karte oder dem USB-Stick kann der Prime Go+ selbst analysieren. Es ist aber besser dieses vorher mit dem PC zu machen.

Hier jetzt alle möglichen Funktionen aufzuzählen, die der Prime Go+ kann, würde den Rahmen sprengen.

Ich bin jedenfalls sehr zufrieden und forsche noch weiter, was so alles geht. Auch werde ich mir noch ein Case oder eine Transporttasche dazu aussuchen.
